almost finished with my 3 year study in the military and after that its 2 years working. and we just finished a bbq with my classmates wich i would not be seeing for a long time this is how i kinda feel, its nice but its just bittersweet that 3 years of staying together comes to an end. with the original pictures replaced with my memories of the past 3 years its like saying goodbye to part of your life and to a family

アニメのエンディングを見ていると、子供の頃の記憶がふと蘇る事がある。 何処かノスタルジックでセンチメンタルな気持ちになる。

子供の頃はわからなかった歌詞の意味が、歳を重ねると解る様になり…更に歳を重ねると味わい深い歌詞だったんだと感じる様になった…。 上野東大内の銀杏並木を歩きながらこの歌聴いたのは生涯忘れる事が出来ない思い出… あの時のイチョウは…本当に綺麗でした…。 秋が来ると毎年東大銀杏並木へ行きたくなる…。 そして…この歌を無性に聴きたくなる…。

That's why I curse every time when I think about Porco Rosso or Miadzaki: it's just too damn good. It's one of the best anime ever, with great atmosphere, world and a huge attention. I feel a soul in this film. But there's no animes like this! Right now the most popular anime is popular just because it has boobs in it, and even before no one tried this setting or feelings of such time - with heroic pilots, discovering the dream, in a world living as fast as never but still in love and calmness somewhere. There's no anime that can awoke that feeling of nostalgia as bright as this (for me; Miadzaki made the most of his animes with this feeling), and this is my problem. I came here to remember Porco Rosso, its beauty, characters and the world and ended up crying. I cried first time for a film and first time that hard for a song when I was watching this film, and I'm in tears again. I'm hitting the replay button.

I don't get why many people hates this film.It can be a great period drama from Italy if we see from this perspective.

Ghibli movies age better than any other movie ever made. And most of not all of them never fail to make me cry
